Dear Relief Society sisters,

Today, Saturday, May 21st is the day for our Humanitarian project!  The details are listed below. We hope you’ll be able to make it. They need all the hands they can get, so even if you haven’t signed up, just show up at 3:00 pm at Smith Field Park (13400 S. 300 E.)

Thank you for of your service. You are all wonderful!!

Greetings Everyone!
If you haven’t already signed up to help with the Tree Planting Project this afternoon, please come! We would definitely appreciate your help!  We need all of the helping hands we can get!
For those of you who were already planning to attend, thank You for signing up for the Draper City Earth Day Tree Planting Project!

We are really looking forward to working with all of you to make a positive impact in our darling little city!
We can't wait to see you all there today! (Saturday, May 21st)

(Please be sure to find S.A.M. Gilbert at the event if your Girl Scout(s) or Boy Scout(s) are participating so that they can get a Earth Day badge for their contribution!)

Here are the final details for you to plan with:

Tree Planting Project:

Extra Info:
We are all to meet at Smith Field at 3:00 pm.
Smith Field is located at 13400 S. 300 E.
We will be planting 50 trees along the riverbank and placing mulch around the trees.
We will have from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm to do the project (but we hope to finish early!)

What Should I Bring?:
Everyone should bring a shovel, mud boots and gloves… (if you have them)
It is recommended to bring a hat for the sun (hopefully we will need them,) and drinking water as well.  Sunscreen should be used appropriately as well.

Thank You Dinner:
Date: June 1st, 2011
Where: The first concert in the Draper Free Concerts In The Park Series
Extra Info: Tickets for the Thank You Dinner will be handed out today at the tree planting project.

Don’t Forget!
Be sure to find S.A.M. Gilbert at the event so that all of your children and teens participating can receive their Certificate of Global Contribution signed by the Mayor of Draper City for their part in the tree planting project… and your scouts can receive their Earth Day badges!

It should be a wonderful project for us to do together with our families & a great opportunity to have the children participate in another wonderful community service project!
See you Saturday at 3:00 pm!

Lots of Love & Best Wishes,
S.A.M. Gilbert
