4th Ward Cookbooks
We have been invited to participate with the neighboring ward in their cookbook order. I have a copy of this cookbook, and trust me - it all looks yummy!! And, it's huge!! The cookbook will be at church on Sunday for you to look at if you are interested, and we will have sign-up sheets there. Any questions? Call Adele 801.576.1089 :) - or email Jeanette Nelson (email address below)
Here is the info from them:
The Corner Canyon 4th Ward Friends and Neighbors Cookbook project was a huge success! After pre-sales of 338 books and then selling an excess of 68 more (printing overrun), we are still receiving requests. For us to go to print again, we need to order at least 100 cookbooks. The cost would be $13.50 each. If we can place an order for 200 or more, then the price will drop to $12.00 each. We would like to place the order by Feb.21st, so we can have them back in plenty of time to distribute before Mother’s Day. For more questions, please email jeanettenelson@comcast.net.
These cookbooks contain 700 delicious recipes in a beautiful 3-ring padded binder, including full color tabbed dividers with helpful hints on the backs, and 16 pages of standard helpful cooking hints.
(they have extended the order deadline for us!)

Violin lessons
Hey everyone!
Jennifer Chubak is teaching violin lessons again! As most of you know, she is a brilliant violinist. She studied at Interlochen Arts Academy for high school, graduated from Indiana University, studied at Julliard, and spent six months studying in Berlin, Germany. She substituted as a violinist for the Utah Symphony for eight years. She is accepting students for 1/2 hour, 45 minute, or one hour lessons. She teaches Suzuki, traditional and fiddle. If you are interested or know of anyone interested in violin lessons, please call her at 801-523-8416.

Service Club Update
A great big “Thank You” goes out to everyone who helped on our first Service Club service project! It was a huge success. We were able to complete 303 rice bags! What a blessing these bags will be to those in need. Sam Gilbert was the brains behind the project… Thank you Sam!!
For February’s service project, Tami Cutler has signed up and has something really fun (with a touch of romance) planned - just in time for Valentine’s day! We know that service outside the home is important, and we know that you all provide a lot of service. Let’s not forget that service in the home is important too. Do you ever feel that sometimes, the ones we love the most get the short end of the service stick? Well, Tami has planned an event that will allow you to serve that special someone like you’ve never served before!!!
On Thursday, February 11th from 10 to 11 am, bring your husband’s car, or your child’s car, or even your car if your husband would think that would be a bigger gift to him, and come on over to the Cutler’s car wash (13800 S. 200 E.) and, at no cost to you, wash all the dirt of the day away for the one you love. What a great way to say… I love you!!!
Come one, come all, and serve someone you love with a touch of clean that lets that special one know how much you care!!
See you there!
Nancee and Jolynn

Egg Cartons Still Needed!!
Have you been remembering to save your 12 count styrofoam egg cartons for the Primary for the activity they are doing in March? There is still time!!
Sister Erickson says that you can either bring them to church, drop them by her house, or give her a call and she will pick them up!
Thanks for your help :)
